CONNECT & CREATE | Weave Away!

Families come in all shapes and sizes and so does creativity. The Meadows Museum and Highland Park Library invite kids and their grown-ups to join us on the first Saturday of the month to get creative together. Each session includes story time by Highland Park Library and an art project facilitated by Meadows Museum staff and SMU student Museum Experience Ambassadors. This month, see how Teresa Lanceta created the incredible textile and woven works in our newest exhibition. Then, create your very own weaving! This program is designed for children ages four to six, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult over the age of 18. Space is limited and advance registration required.

The program is free with regular museum admission: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and over, $4 for non-SMU students, free for members, free for youth under 18*
*Free museum admission for youth 18 and under is made possible by a grant from Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust, Bank of America, N.A., Co-Trustee.
