SPOTLIGHT TALK | Decade x Decade

January 12, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm CST

Free – $12
The Meadows Museum turns sixty this year! Walk down memory lane with us as we explore the museum’s acquisitions by decade. A series of six 20-minute docent-led talks will spotlight a different decade and work of art, starting with the 1960s in January, and ending with the 2010s (and beyond) in June. These talks will illuminate the rich tapestry that forms our permanent collection. The January talks will spotlight Juan de Borgoña’s The Investiture of Saint Ildefonsus, c. 1508–14.

The program is free with regular museum admission: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and over, $4 for non-SMU students, free for members, free for youth under 18*
*Free museum admission for youth 18 and under is made possible by a grant from Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust, Bank of America, N.A., Co-Trustee.
