Homeschool Workshop: Printed Portraits

In this program exclusively for homeschool families, participants will explore the expressive portraits of Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta. Led by a museum educator, they will learn to interpret visual clues, make connections to their own experiences, and consider what makes a portrait meaningful. Then, children will use a printmaking process to create their own self-portraits.
This workshop is designed for curious minds ages 8 and up, but all are welcome. This is not a drop-off program; children must be accompanied by at least one adult over the age of 18. Both grown-ups and children need to register.
$5; free for SMU students and Meadows Museum members at the Individual level and above.
