Spotlight Talks: EMPIRE! | Portrait of María-Rosa de Ribera Mendoza y Maldonado, Fifth Condesa de la Vega del Ren

At the apex of its power, Spain ruled lands across the globe, from Naples and Flanders to the Americas and the Philippines. This fall’s Spotlight Talks will focus on artists and objects from the far reaches of the Spanish empire. To learn more, join a docent for a 20-minute journey of discovery at a featured work of art in the museum’s galleries. Advance registration is not required.
The program is free with regular museum admission: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and over, $4 for non-SMU students, free for members, free for youth under 18*
