ARTafterDARK: SMU College Night Thursday

Limited Edition T-Shirt

The first 100 people to arrive get a limited-edition, glow-in-the-dark ARTafterDARK shirt designed by SMU student artist Sophie Kim.

Step under the black light and use neon pencils to color your own fluorescing version of works at the museum.

Lit Origami Lanterns

Work with the SMU chapter of Paper for Water to fold an origami lantern lit with an LED diode, or collaborate with others to make a multi-sheet ornament.

Grab a finger light and paint with light on the big screen.

Art by Candlelight

Experience the museum’s gallery of Medieval and early Renaissance art the way it was intended – by candlelight and by song.

Glow Booth

Capture your glowing review of this year’s College Night at the Meadows Museum in a photo souvenir.

Mini Pyramid Lights

Create a portable pyramid light with vellum, an electric tea light, and your imagination.

Layered Lightboxes

Join SMU’s Student Organized Artist Collective (SOAC) to create a custom, collaged lightbox that’s perfect to hang at home.

Riddle Me This

Grab a team and a UV flashlight and solve riddles in the galleries. Teams that successfully figure out all the riddles will win a glowing prize.

Lite Brites

Channel your inner child and create the glowing peg-light images of your dreams.

Light Bites
